| Friends
of Sai Kung was originally formed in January 2004 under the name of
“Sai Kung Association”. It was an association of 9 professional
members who set out to protect Sai Kung from non public consulted
projects, social issues and long term unsustainable development. In summer 2007 the Association changed its name to Friends of Sai Kung and opened its membership to all. Today our members are people who care about Sai Kung. We have come together to do all we can to preserve what we love of Sai Kung. The current Executive Committee, with a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman and a Secretary was elected at the November 2008 AGM. More information on the Executive Committee. We are closely linked to Explore Sai Kung, we see Explore providing the information and Friends of Sai Kung carrying out the action. Please check our Projects page to see what we are working on. | • | Identifying worthy projects that will improve Sai Kung's environment and implementing them. | |
